DDOT to Host First Semi-Annual DC Circulator Public Forum

This community notice comes to us from John Lisle:

The District Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) Progressive Transportation Services Administration (PTSA) is hosting the first semi-annual public forum for the DC Circulator on Thursday, March 17 to give passengers an opportunity to participate in discussions about current and future bus service.

“These forums are intended for riders to let us know how we’re doing and to discuss the critical issues that will affect the future of the Circulator,” said DDOT Associate Director Scott Kubly. “We have a very dedicated customer base and we value their input as we strive to make service even better.”

The forum on March 17 will cover a range of topics including potential changes to the span of the Union Station-Navy Yard route, a proposal to end service on the Smithsonian-National Gallery of Art route, and changes to the Convention Center-SW Waterfront route to accommodate the pending closure of Water Street, SW.  It will take place from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel (Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard), located at 140 L Street, SE.
