Ground Breaking For New Affordable Housing Construction in Ward 7 | People

From Clinton McGue: Tomorrow, February 22, Washington, DC Mayor Vincent Gray, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, city officials, community leaders, development and finance partners and local residents will be breaking ground for The Nannie Helen at 4800, an innovative new mixed-use affordable housing development for seniors, working families and individuals in the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, DC’s Ward 7.

The $19.3 million new construction development was financed by a public and private collaborative and helps to meet the goals of the District’s City’s Green Communities and Great Streets initiatives.
