Mayor Gray To Locals: Pay Off Your Parking Tickets

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray reminded locals today that there are just two weeks left to pay their outstanding parking tickets under the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles’ ticket-amnesty program.

The amnesty program, which will end on January 27, 2012, allows customers to pay old, outstanding parking tickets without extra fees.

“Time is running out for citizens to pay off many of their old tickets,” Mayor Gray said. “An opportunity like this doesn’t happen often, so we encourage customers to take the time to satisfy their old ticket debts to the District at a lower cost.”

Amnesty tickets can be paid online , via phone (866-893-5023) or by visiting the DMV Adjudication Services Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. until 5:00 p.m..  The DMV Adjudication Services is located at 301 C Street in Northwest.

D.C., which hasn't offered a ticket-amnesty program since 2001, has already collected $3,094,494 in total revenue thus far this period.
