New Pizza Joint To Open On H Street This Friday | Restaurants
FOODIE NEWS FLASH: Another rockin’ food option is coming to the H Street/Atlas District in Northeast.
H &pizza, which will be located at 1118 H Street, will open their doors for the first time this Friday, July 13.
The shop, which will be occupy the former Birdland space next to Taylor Gourmet, is the brain child of native New Yorker Steve Salis and his longtime friend Michael Lastoria. The space was seen as a “natural fit for their vision of a neighborhood pizza joint; a place where food lovers can enjoy gourmet tastes without grandiose prices,” according to H &pizza media representative Doug Rashid.
H will serve up pizza on traditional, whole-wheat, and 9-grain dough, and will feature six types of house made sauces and house made whole-milk mozzarella cheese.
Sounds pretty darn tasty, eh?
Customers will be able to select toppings for their pizzas from a variety of fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients before the pies are “blast-fired”.
H &pizza will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and will stay open from 11 a.m.-3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for the night owls.
If that news didn’t make your rainy Monday a little brighter, you probably need a visit from the happy police.
